You can type a personal letter, have it typeset in a handwriting-style font, and mailed anywhere in the US via USPS for $1.99 — a real paper letter in the mailbox, sent from your phone in about 90 seconds.

Some letters should be paper: the note to a grandparent who does not do email, the pen pal exchange, the letter to a friend going through something, the "open when" letter, mail to a summer camper. The recipient gets an envelope with their name on it — an increasingly rare and genuinely felt thing.
The handwriting-style fonts (free) are the right register for personal mail — "Handwritten casual" for warmth, "Neat" for legibility for older eyes. It is typeset rather than pen-written and we are upfront about that; what lands emotionally is the physical object and the words, and those are fully yours.
For recurring correspondence — a weekly letter to a parent in assisted living, a monthly pen pal exchange — prepaid credits (with up to 35% bonus) mean no checkout each time, and the letter history keeps your thread. Some people dictate the letter to their AI assistant, which sends it through our MCP endpoint; the words are still theirs, the licking of stamps is nobody’s.
One honest limitation: this is US-only mail today, up to 12 pages, text documents only — no photo prints yet. For enclosing photos, a traditional envelope still wins.

Can the recipient tell it was sent through a service?
The letter arrives printed in your chosen style in a windowed envelope with your return address. It is clearly printed mail, not pen-on-paper — think of it as typed correspondence with warmth, in the tradition of typewriter letters.
Can I send letters internationally?
Not yet — US addresses only at launch. International First-Class is on the roadmap.
Is there a cheap way to write weekly?
Prepaid credit packs add up to 35% bonus balance, bringing a weekly $1.99 letter down meaningfully. Codes work at checkout with no card needed.
